Our Monument

The historic site sheltering the Monument of the Canadian Vietnam Veterans Quebec Association which was the first monument dedicated to the Canadians, is dedicated to the Canadians who, under the American flag, served, died and/or were missing in Vietnam, during the conflict from 1964 till 1975.

Each summer, a Commemorative Vigil takes place and our fellow Americans cross the border to visit us and to faithfully attend our Vigil ceremony.

We are proud to say that The Vietnam Veterans Monument site in Melocheville has been registered as a ‘Historical Site’ by the Canadian National Defence ‘History and Heritage’ department, which is dedicated to the commemoration of important moments of the Military History and to the studies that can be of help to historians of the future.

The CVVQ site is located at 250 Émond Street, corner of Route 132 in Melocheville Quebec.
